Orlando Bloom was upset and didn’t approve of Katy Perry’s all-female space trip. He felt frustrated and disappointed that she still went ahead with it. He believed from the start that the Blue Origin mission was a bad idea, says report.

Bloom thought Katy would face backlash and gain nothing positive from it. Katy Perry went to space on April 15 with other women like Lauren Sanchez, Gayle King, Amanda Nguyen, etc. She held a daisy in the shuttle, likely as a sweet moment for her daughter Daisy, as per the report by The Blast.

When she came back, she kissed the ground but got mocked for being “dramatic.” Many people thought the trip was unnecessary, including celebs like Emily Ratajkowski and Olivia Munn. Ratajkowski called it “end-time sh-t” and said it was hypocritical to talk about Earth while using space tech that harms it, as per reports.

She also said a lot of resources were wasted on sending women to space “for what?” Because of all this, Orlando Bloom now wants space from Katy Perry. A source said Bloom feels ignored, that Katy doesn’t take his opinion seriously. He thinks she has changed recently and acts like a different person, according to the report by The U.S. Sun.

Break up soon?

It’s rumored the couple is in a rough patch and are living separate lives now. On June 10, Bloom showed up alone to the Deep Cover premiere at the Tribeca Festival. According to Page six, the couple will split after Katy’s tour ends, and "it’s over."

Her album "143" didn’t do well, it got bad reviews and had low ticket sales. This failure reportedly made Katy stressed and caused tension between her and Orlando. She was also disappointed by some tour reviews, which added more stress. Katy’s Lifetimes tour started on April 23 and ended on December 7, according to the People Magazine.

This isn’t the first time they’ve had problems. They broke up in 2017. Katy said in 2024 that at the beginning, she wasn’t fully in the relationship. Orlando had just done celibacy and was looking for something serious, but Katy wasn’t ready.

In 2023, Bloom admitted that their careers are very different, and they don’t always get each other’s world. He said their emotions and creative minds often clash, making things really hard. He says their connection is special and there’s never a dull moment between them, as per reports.
