In the latest episode of Southern Charm, Austen Kroll debunked reports of a more personal relationship between him and Taylor Ann Green while insisting that the interaction did not go beyond a kiss.

“We didn’t sleep together,” Austen, 36, told his friends, Craig, 34, and Whitney Sudler-Smith in the latest episode that aired on Thursday, November 16. “And that’s it,” he said.

Austen said they locked the lips during a moment of dancing and music, with Taylor taking the initiative. He reenacted the scenario for Craig and Whitney, emphasizing that he merely reciprocated when Taylor made a move. He said, "It takes two to tango," asserting that Taylor made a move.

Asked about the details, Austen revealed that the incident did not happen in New York City, as believed, but in his kitchen, three weeks after the cast's season 8 reunion in fall 2022. Craig, initially under the impression that the kiss occurred in New York, expressed confusion and skepticism about the timeline.

Craig confronted Austen, mentioning Taylor's previous statements about the kiss happening in New York after the reunion. Austen, however, maintained that they only kissed once and stood firm on the location and timing of the event.

Acknowledging the connection he shares with Taylor, Austen expressed that he didn't harbor negative emotions about the incident. He described the encounter as a "brief f–king moment" with someone close to him, implying that, in the context of their relationship, it didn't weigh heavily on him.

Meanwhile, Craig expressed doubt about Austen's account and raised questions about the alleged subsequent sleepovers between Austen and Taylor in early 2023. Craig suggested that if a kiss had already taken place, it was unlikely that they wouldn't engage in further intimacy during private sleepovers.

Austen, on the other hand, asserted that he had no regrets about the kiss itself but acknowledged regret about how the information came to light. He explained that he and Taylor decided not to pursue a romantic relationship after talking and chose to remain friends. Austen expressed regret about not keeping the situation a secret and allowing it to become public knowledge.

The “controversial episode” highlights the tension among the cast members as they grapple with the unfolding revelations, leaving viewers intrigued about the aftermath and the potential impact on the dynamics within the Southern Charm group.
