South Korea deployed its jets and helicopters to check the intrusion and fired about 100 rounds to shoot the drone. The retaliation teams remained unsuccessful in shooting down the enemy drones. The South Korean airforce officials released the news of the crash, but the details of the crash are still unavailable. South Korea has also suspended all the fights for an hour at the Incheon and Gimpo airports.

The last time North Korea sent its drone into South Korean territory was in 2017 when the tensions were highest between the two nations.
