Will Kim Jong Un eye South Korea now?
Donald Trump is coming to power very soon and will begin with his focus on the various international political tensions, starting with Ukraine and Russia, where there are chances that a peace deal could be reached with due delegation from the upcoming US President.

However, many fear that if this does happen, Kim Jong Un may help himself to South Korean territories just like Russia's Putin conquered various Ukrainian territories through a military onslaught.

Will Kim Jong Un eye South Korea now?

As South Korea's President Yoon has now been impeached and arrested, the geopolitical structure of the country has weakened, making it a perfect opportunity for Kim Jong Un to increase his pressure from across the border and take the fight to Seoul.

If Trump’s anticipated peace deal around the Russia-Ukraine conflict works out, there are high chances that Kim Jong Un may try to use the same model for himself and prepare his troops for onslaughts on South Korean territories, and then later sit with US and Russia at the political tables and carve himself a beneficial peace deal. A weaker government at the center of South Korea may help the North Korean dictator in achieving just that.
