Paramount Pictures has released a trailer for "Sonic the Hedgehog 3," revealing Keanu Reeves as the voice of Shadow the Hedgehog. The trailer shows Sonic facing off against this new adversary.

He was created by Professor Gerald Robotnik, the grandfather of Dr. Robotnik, who is Sonic's main antagonist. Shadow possesses extraordinary speed and the power of Chaos Control, which allows him to manipulate space and time. Initially, Shadow is portrayed as Sonic's adversary, but he eventually becomes an ally in the video game series by Sega, which serves as the basis for the film franchise.

Plot and Release Date

The plot of "Sonic the Hedgehog 3" remains largely undisclosed. The film is set to be released in theaters on December 20. The first film, released in 2020, followed Sonic as he teamed up with a small-town sheriff, Tom, to evade capture by the government and Dr. Robotnik, a mad scientist.
