Alden Ehrenreich, who has played the role of Han Solo in movie 'Solo: A Star Wars Story', is slated to play a significant role in the Disney+ series. He will be now one of the key members of the cast in the upcoming series. The "Ironheart" series has been based on the comic book's title character, which will be played by Dominique Thorne.

Ehrenreich will appear in the Marvel Studios series alongside Manny Montana, Lyric Ross and Anthony Ramos. The creators have not yet revealed any information about Ehrenreich's character. He will soon be shooting for the series for the second time.

Ehrenreich is well-known for his acting performances in movies, such as Caesar!, Blue Jasmine, Rules Don't Apply, and Hail, in addition to his performance in Solo. Recently, the actor finished filming Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer. The next movie starring him will be Elizabeth Banks' Cocaine Bear.

Ironheart will be directed by Angela Barnes and Samantha Bailey.

The series, which was first revealed to be in creation during Disney''s investor-day presentation in December 2020, just hired Chinaka Hodge as its chief writer. The production company behind the series is Proximity, which is run by Black Panther director Ryan Coogler.

Although Marvel Studios has kept the plot and specifics of the show under wraps, it is anticipated that it will track the misadventures of Dominique Thorne's character Riri Williams. Then, Williams, an intelligent 15-year-old engineering student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, creates the most technically sophisticated suit of armor since Iron Man in the comic book using elements she collects on her campus.

Either way, Ehrenreich now has another chance to participate in one of the greatest franchises of all time. And, as we all know from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, if the actor's part doesn't eventually die, one performance typically leads to a lot more. Thus, this might be the start of a long journey for the performer.
