Snub to Kamala Harris? Many millionaires plan to leave the country even if she wins the U.S elections

Arton Capital conducted a recent survey, which revealed that approximately 53% millionaires from US, are contemplating to leave the country following the US Presidential elections 2024. According to Quartz, the survey included nearly 1,000 wealthy US citizens and the majority of them claimed that they are planning to leave the country after the elections regardless of the election results.

Survey conducted by Arton Capital also revealed that the political and economic uncertainties in the US are actually driving this trend among the millionaires, reported Quartz. US Vice President Kamala Harris got 52% support in the survey whereas former US President Donald Trump got around 42% support only, though the respondents showed concerns of economic stability under both the Presidential candidates.

Quartz noted that 40% citizens in the survey believe that their life would be better in foreign countries during Kamala Harris’s presidency whereas only 35% citizens in the survey believe the same during Donald Trump’s presidency. The younger millionaires specifically aged between 18-29 expressed a strong desire for citizenship in foreign countries like Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK and many more through golden visas.

Armand Arton, the founder of Arton Capital, highlighted the facts that the rise in political divisions in the country is driving the wealthy US citizens to have an alternative residence abroad. According to Quartz, the survey revealed that the wealthy citizens of the US are showing huge dissatisfaction regarding the political climate and economic climate in the US which is similar to what is happening among the wealthy populations of other notable countries like the UK, France, etc.
