Gal Gadot features in new Snow White trailer

The new trailer also features Gal Gadot's Evil Queen. The antagonist is shown losing her temper over the fact that her stepdaughter is still alive and is "fairest of them all”. Snow White is scheduled for theatrical release on March 21. The new Snow White trailer depicts the titular princess's proclamation of her resolve to fight back against the Evil Queen as the latter has stolen from all of her kingdom's subjects.

Snow White filming challenges

Disney's Snow White was originally slated to release in March 2024. However, it was one of the movies that faced delays amidst the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) strikes. The film's shooting concluded in April 2022. Later, the makers had to conduct reshoots.

Snow White budget overrun

Recently, Forbes reported that Snow White's budget had swelled to a massive $269.4 million as 2023 drew to a close. The budget overrun naturally puts additional pressure on the movie to emerge as a big theatrical success. The opening weekend box office estimates forecast that the movie will gross somewhere between $48 to $58 million in the domestic market.
