Sniffer dog tipped cops off to cocaine worth £1.2 million at Italy's Milan airport. Here's how
The person in the wheelchair rose from his seat and began to walk unassisted when the sniffer dog alerted the police of the drugs. According to the police, the drugs were concealed inside the wheelchair's upholstery.

Financial Guard police discovered the pills in the wheelchair's upholstery after the wheelchair's user pretended to be disabled. The individual was detained right away, according to the police. The statement claimed that after being taken to a local jail, the court upheld the passenger's detention, pending the outcome of the case.

The canine unit was on duty at the airport, screening the bags of arriving passengers from the plane from the Dominican Republic, a frequent route for drug smuggling. Police began searching the luggage as soon as the dog called their attention to the wheelchair. However, they had no luck. Instead, they cut up the wheelchair's upholstery and found the cocaine that had been buried inside.
According to the police, the Spanish user got out of the wheelchair and began walking unassisted as soon as the discovery was made. Police reported that a total of 11 packages of cocaine measuring around 13.25kg (25.2lbs) were found; they could have produced 27,000 individual doses. The bust is estimated to be worth about £1,2 million (€1.4 million).
Guardia di Finanza, the military police force that operates to protect economic and financial security and caused the drug bust, tweeted:
