Snack Basue manga to be adapted as television anime series. Check release date

"Snack Basue" manga is all set to be adapted for anime and take form of a television series. There will also be a "Christmas Showdown pre-broadcast event" on December 24 at Tokyo's Asagaya Loft A venue.

"Snack Basue" will be adapted for anime, as per the official website for the anime adaptation of Forbidden Shibukawa's manga. The anime will take the form of a television series.

The manga originally debuted in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine in 2017, and its 13th compiled book volume was published by Shueisha on June 19.

Minoru Ashina, known for works such as "Isekai Quartet", "Kaiju Girls", and "Nights with a Cat," is directing the anime at Studio Puyukai. Ashina is also responsible for the scriptwriting and supervision of the series, in addition to serving as the animation director.


The cast for the anime includes Yōhei Azakami as Yamada, Rie Takahashi as Akemi, Fukushi Ochiai as Tatsu-nii, Kimiko Saitō as Basue, Jun Fukushima as Kazama, and Ryōta Iwasaki as Morita.

The cast is set to make appearances at two preview screenings of the first two episodes on December 10 at Tokyo's Cine Libre Ikebukuro theater. There will also be a "Christmas Showdown pre-broadcast event" on December 24 at Tokyo's Asagaya Loft A venue.

The gag comedy manga is set in a bar located in Sapporo's North 24th neighborhood, five stations away from the Susukino business district. The story revolves around the bar's proprietor, the junior proprietor, eccentric regular customers, and the various walk-in patrons, as they share their peculiar and comedic life stories.
