The masked metal band Slipknot will tour in support of their seventh studio album, "The End So Far" which was released in September. Beginning on June 7 in Nickelsdorf, Austria, Corey Taylor and company will also perform in Amsterdam on June 13, visit Copenhagen on June 16, Hamburg on June 20, Berlin on June 21, and other cities throughout the month.
The band is not just famous for their chartbuster music but also their trademark look. In 1997, the Slipknot band member decided on wearing a mask to all their performance. This idea came to them when the then percussionist Shaun Crahan came to band practice in a mask.
The tour consists of Slipknot's headline gigs, and festival dates at Rock For People, Nova Rock, and Graspop.
There is presently no word on a possible tour of the United Kingdom and Ireland. However, Corey Taylor addressed rumors last month that Slipknot will headline the revamped Download Festival 2023.
