Sky ablaze: SpaceX Falcon 9 soars from California’s Vandenberg Base, leaving dazzling light trail

Elon Musk's SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket on Tuesday from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The rocket carrying 23 Starlink satellites was supposed to launch on February 10, but it was delayed by a day.

As the rocket took off into the sky, it left behind a bright light trail. This trail was caused by the rocket’s engines burning fuel as it soared higher, and it was visible to the people living along the West Coast of North America.
