Siouxsie Sioux to hold first performance in 10 years at Latitude 2023

Siouxsie Sioux will join main stage headliners Pulp, Paolo Nutini and George Ezra at the Suffolk festival from July 20 to July 23, 2023. "What a privilege it is to welcome the iconic Siouxsie to the Latitude Festival. Siouxsie has been an enduring trailblazer and her impact across musical culture is colossal. Uncompromisingly defiant, Siouxsie’s powerful body of work is incomparable," said Melvin Benn, director of the Latitude Festival. “There has never been and most likely never will be a live performer like her!” He further added.

English singer, songwriter, guitarist, and record producer Susan Janet Ballion, better known by her stage name Siouxsie Sioux, was born on May 27, 1957. Siouxsie and the Banshees' lead vocalist, she was a rock musician (1976–1996). They had 11 studio albums, 11 Top 20 UK singles (Hong Kong Garden, Happy House, Peek-a-Boo, etc.), and one US Billboard Top 25 hit (Kiss Them for Me).

Sioux then formed The Creatures with The Banshees drummer Budgie, releasing four albums between 1981 and 2005. The singer then shared her debut solo album, ‘Mantaray‘, in 2007.
