Blast reported that pretty recent developments have eventually led her to reconsider this certain stance due to her committed relationship with 38 year old Alexander AE Edwards, alongside whom he is co-parenting his son.

Several eminent sources have revealed that the decision of Cher to stay in the US eventually stems from her desire to not disrupt Edward’s life and responsibilities as a father. Blast also noted that in spite of their significant age gap, Cher who is 78 ad Edwards who is 38, she has stated that it does not affect their relationship at all.
Cher had confirmed about her relationship on social media back in the year 2022 and had dismissed numerous critics of their age gap while emphasizing on their compatibility. Adding on to that, Cher is also preparing to release her memoir on November 19 and has eventually decided to withdraw her petition for conservatorship over her son Elijah, asserted Blast.
