Simone Biles & other gymnasts seek $1billion from FBI for mishandling Larry Nassar sex abuse case
Simone Biles and other renowned gymnasts have asked the FBI to may one billion dollars to all the victims of Larry Nassar, a team doctor, sexual abuse. They thrashed the federal agents for not doing anything to stop Nassar from assaulting hundreds...

Why is the FBI at fault in this case?
It is a fact that the FBI knew of Nassar and his crimes back in 2015. He was accused of molestation by gymnasts, but they did not react. This led Nassar to continue his heinous crimes and torture young girls for over a year.
Some of the local reporters were told by Indianapolis-based USA Gymnastics that back in 2015, three gymnasts were sexually assaulted by Nassar, the team doctor. But the FBI failed to report this crime and did not open a formal investigation.
According to an internal watchdog, the inspector general of the Justice Department, the FBI never reported this to the federal or the state authorities of Michigan.
FBI agents in Los Angeles also investigated this case in 2016. They opened up a sexual tourism investigation and even continued to interview several sexually assaulted victims. But the account of the Inspector General states that they did not report this to the authorities in Michigan State.
What happened to Nassar ultimately?
Since Nassar was a doctor at Michigan State, he was later arrested in 2016 when the Michigan State University police took the investigation into their own hands.
The Michigan attorney general finally handled the case of Nassar with a child pornography case established by Grand Rapids of Michigan. Nassar is set to face at least ten years in jail.
What are people and the FBI saying about this?
Samantha Roy, a former gymnast from the University of Michigan, said that if the FBI had done what was right by everyone, Nassar would have been behind bars before he could molest hundreds of girls, including herself.
Michigan State University was also held accountable for ignoring this monstrous activity. They apologise for missing the opportunity to put Nassar behind bars. They have agreed to pay over 500 million dollars to 300 girls who were victims of this assault.
The US Olympics and Paralympic Committee and USA Gymnastics have agreed to pay 380 million dollars to the victims.
