Showtime to premiere Your Honor's second season: See when to watch
Showtime is coming up with the second season of 'Your Honor'. The first episode will be available for streaming and on-demand from December 9 for Showtime subscribers.

The first episode will be available for streaming and on-demand two days sooner, on Friday, December 9, for Showtime subscribers. The second season will premiere on television on December 11 at 9 p.m. The Israeli TV program Kvodo served as the inspiration for the Peter Moffat-penned miniseries Your Honor.
The show centers on New Orleans judge Michael Desiato (Cranston), whose son Adam, a teen, accidentally kills another child in a hit-and-run incident. Adam's father is played by Hunter Doohan. When Michael learns that the child Adam killed was the son of a mafia boss, he decides to stand up for his kid, which sparks a dangerous game of deception, lying, and important choices.
Your Honor was a hit for Showtime, becoming one of the most watched programs on the network ever and attracting both a traditional linear audience and a streaming audience. On its traditional broadcast, the Season 1 finale received 742,000 viewers, while an additional 825,000 viewers tuned in that same night for on-demand/streaming. These figures undoubtedly played a key role in Showtime's choice to order a second edition of the series.
On the Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast, though, Cranston revealed in July that Season 2 will be the show's last. The Your Honor limited series, which I created for Showtime, is in its final season, the Emmy-winning actor said. They informed me that they will be airing that series for one more season because it achieved the highest ratings of any show they have ever broadcast. Cranston's claims have not been supported by Showtime.
