Long queues have been seen outside Teesside Aldi stores to get the viral Prime drink before it sells out. People began queuing outside in the cold and dark as early as 5.30 a.m. on Thursday in the hopes of buying an elusive energy drink.

Prime Energy sports drink has been making rounds on the internet for the past two months. YouTube influencers KSI and Logan Paul founded the Prime hydration energy drinks. Aldi announced on Wednesday that Prime would be available for purchase for £1.99 per bottle. Although this is the recommended retail price, packs of Prime Hydration are being sold on Ebay for as much as £400.

This demonstrates its popularity among YouTube fans who watch KSI and Logan Paul's videos.

This is not the first time teenagers have rallied in supermarkets in order to get their hands on the drink. Kids and teenagers began queuing outside Asda supermarkets as early as 6 a.m. in October, to get their hands on it.
