Ohtani almost single-handedly dragged the Dodgers back into the World Series thriller, smashing two home runs and reaching base a record nine times. Widely hailed as one of the greatest players in baseball history, Ohtani is set to pitch in Game 4.

Ohtani and Freddie Freeman tied it at 4–4, and after Bo Bichette restored Toronto’s lead in the seventh, Ohtani struck again with his second homer of the night, forcing extra innings and setting the stage for Freeman’s dramatic walk-off.

The 31-year-old Japanese superstar and his wife, 28-year-old former pro basketball player Mamiko, are a down-to-earth couple who largely stay out of the spotlight. Mamiko, once known for her rare public appearances, has recently become a more visible and cheerful presence among the Dodgers’ WAGs, especially during the playoffs. Her humble attitude, even amid all the attention, perfectly reflect her grounded personality.
