A year after Starz canceled Shining Vale and removed it from its platform, the show is now available for streaming on Max. The horror-comedy series, starring Courteney Cox and Greg Kinnear, can be watched once again.

Season 1

Season 1 introduces Pat (Courteney Cox) and Terry Phelps (Greg Kinnear). The couple moves from Brooklyn to an old Victorian house in Connecticut in hopes of saving their failing marriage. Strange events begin to occur, including slamming doors and a haunting woman outside their home. Pat questions her sanity as these eerie occurrences continue. The family begins to face real and supernatural demons.

Season 2

Season 2 picks up after a dramatic finale in Season 1. Pat is sent to a psychiatric hospital after an attempt to harm her family with an ax. During her recovery, she meets a mysterious woman who offers ancient remedies to help women with mental health struggles. Meanwhile, the family continues to be haunted by ghosts as Pat battles both internal and external demons.

Shining Vale features a strong cast that includes Mira Sorvino, Gus Birney, Merrin Dungey and Dylan Gage. It also includes notable guest stars like Judith Light, Allison Tolman and Sherilyn Fenn. The show was created by Jeff Astrof and Sharon Horgan, who also serve as executive producers. The show was produced by Warner Bros. Television in collaboration with Lionsgate Television.
