Ongoing dispute for a winery
Notably, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been embroiled in a drawn-out court struggle for the past eight years. A few days ago, a Los Angeles Superior Court ordered Jolie to turn over any non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) she has signed.According to Page Six, this decision is the most recent development in their protracted battle over who owns Chateau Miraval, their $500 million French winery.
Jolie, who had earlier claimed that releasing the NDAs would be "expensive," "wasteful," and "unreasonable," as well as an "invasion of privacy" for third parties involved, was dealt a "crushing blow" by the decision, according to a source close to Pitt.
According to Page Six, the documents in issue most likely include NDAs about brands, personal employees, and employers in Hollywood. They may also contain private information concerning Jolie's salary and contracts with other parties.
Jolie is also required by the court's order to give Pitt's team a list of all the papers she believes to be private so they may assess her privilege claims.
Beyond their divorce, the Oscar-winning pair has been involved in a protracted court battle that centres on the Chateau Miraval winery.
