Sheikha Mahra, the Dubai princess gets engaged to rapper French Montana after divorcing Sheikh Mana

Dubai’s Princess Sheikha Mahra and Moroccan-American rapper French Montana were recently spotted walking hand-in-hand at Paris Fashion Week, fueling speculation about their relationship. On August 27, TMZ confirmed that the two are now engaged.

Earlier, Sheikha Mahra reportedly posted an Instagram photo of two hands locking a padlock, believed to be at Paris’s famous Pont des Arts “Love Lock Bridge”, accompanied by a heart emoji, hinting at a blossoming romance.

Who is Sheikha Mahra?

Sheikha Mahra, also known as Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was born on February 26, 1994, she is a member of Dubai’s ruling family. Her father is Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, while her mother, Zoe Grigorakos, has Greek heritage.

Sheikha pursued higher education in London, earning a degree in international relations in 2023, as per the FPJ report. She also completed a program at the Mohammed bin Rashid Government Administration.

Beyond her royal ties, Sheikha is also an entrepreneur, having launched her own perfume line, Mahra M1, which includes a fragrance named “Divorce.”

She is known as _xtianna_ on Instagram and has over 1.1 million followers.

She was previously married to Emirati businessman Sheikh Mana, with whom she has a daughter born last May, according to Complex.

According to Grazia in July 2024, Sheikha Mahra shared her divorce announcement from His Highness Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum on her Instagram.

The post read: "I divorce you, I divorce you, and I divorce you,” Sheikha Mahra, 31, added, referring to the Islamic practice known as triple talaq, which allows husbands to initiate divorce by stating it three times. "I divorce you" three times, according to a BBC article.

"Take care. Your ex-wife," Sheikha Mahra concluded her post.
