'She Said': Here's how to watch Zoe Kazan and Carey Mulligan's new drama

Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kazan's new movie "She Said" is based on the infamous #MeToo movement in New York.

While the #MeToo movement began in 2006, it wasn’t until 2017 that it became a sensation that brought something genuinely terrible to the attention of the mainstream media. Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor, two NY Times investigative journalists, bare it all in their piece about Harvey Winestein.

"She Said", starring Zoe Kazan and Carey Mulligan as two journalists, is based on their best-selling memoir of the same name. The film builds up to the women’s quest for justice through years of investigation, interviews, and talking to victims who did not want to come forward with their stories of what goes on behind closed doors in Hollywood. Maria Schrader directs the movie.

While Zoe Kazan enacts Jodi Kantor, one of the journalists featured in She Said, Carey Mulligan enacts Megan Twohey, another journalist. Patricia Clarkson, Jennifer Ehle, Andre Braugher, Angela Yeoh, and Maren Heary are other actors in the movie.
