Pavlovich, who entered the fight ranked sixth in the division, is making a compelling case to move up to the heavyweight division.
The 30-year-old Russian is currently 5-1 in the UFC and 17-1 overall. Tuivasa has now lost two games in a row after being defeated by Ciryl Gane in September. Before the match with Gane, "Bam Bam" was on a five-fight knockdown streak of his own.
