"Secret Invasion" Episode 3 was released on Disney+ on Wednesday. Like previous two episodes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) series, there was a twist and Nick Fury played by Samuel L. Jackson has been at the forefront as former S.H.I.E.L.D. director goes all out to stop invasion by rebel Skrull cell.

Makers have been releasing one episode per week since June 21, 2023. There will be a total of six episodes of "Secret Invasion".

Episode 1 -- 'Resurrection' -- was released on June 21, 2023. The second episode titled 'Promises' was premiered on June 28, 2023.


Episode 3 'Betrayed' has been dropped on July 5.

The 4th, 5th, and 6th episodes will be released on July 12, July 19, and July 26.

The MCU series is directed by Ali Selim.

The six-episode show follows Nick Fury as he and his allies fight to stop the shapeshifting reptilian humanoids known as the Skrulls from committing international terrorist attacks and eventually invading Earth. The plot of the series focuses on Skrull rebel leader Gravik who is trying to incite a war between the United States and Russia so that the Skrulls can take over Earth. Fighting alongside allies, which include Everett Ross, Maria Hill, and his Skrull ally Talos. Fury fights to save humanity in a race against time amidst a massive Skrull invasion.

The cast includes Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, a Skrull ally of Nick Fury, Emilia Clarke as G'iah, Talos' daughter, and Olivia Colman as agent Sonya Falsworth.
