Sean Stewart, the son of British rock musician Sir Rod Stewart, recently checked into rehab to address his long-standing battle with substance abuse. His decision to seek help reportedly came after an intervention from his family.

Sean entered the Cliffside Malibu rehab facility. The 44-year-old has faced challenges with addiction for a long time. He struggled with ADHD and dyslexia from a young age.

Sean told Daily Mail that found school especially tough, often feeling misunderstood and ridiculed.

The Cliffside Malibu facility in California, where Sean is undergoing treatment, charges $80,000 per month, the Daily Mail reported.

According to reports, Sean had maintained sobriety for three years after previously struggling with alcohol dependency. He was trying to change his life, especially through his new business venture.

When he was young, Sean played football, but his career took a downturn in his late teens.

According to the Daily Mail report, Sean Stewart acknowledged that his struggles with ADHD and childhood trauma left him battling feelings of inadequacy, particularly in the shadow of his father's immense fame.

For years, these challenges have caused him significant distress, he told Daily Mail, which took a tool on his self-worth. His early experiences with ADHD and dyslexia contributed to a fear of failure.
