Scream 6: When is the sequel returning?

When Scream 6 debuts on March 10, 2023, get ready to SCREAM. 14 months after Scream 5's release on January 14, 2022, the wait is finally over. The original Scream, which aired in 1996 and starred Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, and David Arquette among others, and was directed by Wes Craven.

After the huge success of Scream 5 & being the best horror movie in 2022, writers are back to blow minds with a requel. Yes you heard it right, fans are calling it a requel as there were three prior sequels to the most recent Scream before its release, which its meta script refers to as a "requel" (reboot/sequel).

Scream 6: Is it now a requel sequel?

The basic plot of Scream VI follows the four Scream survivors as they refight Ghostface. The four survivors depart Woodsboro and begin a new life after the most recent Ghostface killings.




The Scream (2022) survivors will once more battle Ghostface with the help of Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, and Wednesday star Jenna Ortega.
