Saturday Night Live season 48 premiere: All you need to know about humorous start of SNL
Saturday Night Live’s 48th season starts with a humorous opening sketch featuring Miles Teller and Andrew Dismukes self-analysing the show.

Teller also asked for impressions of Anthony Fauci, Rudy Giuliani, or Lindsey Graham, to which Dismukes replied that they were all Kate McKinnon. Teller acknowledged that the show is in a rebuilding year. The creator of SNL also mentioned at the Emmys last month that the current season would be a transition year for the show.
Kendrick Lamar
Teller poked fun at the show again, stating that they had attempted fourteen jokes but only achieved three chuckles and a mild laugh. He was happy they had Kendrick Lamar, the prime attraction for viewers. The opening also saw appearances by Jon Hamm and Shaun White, who played a part in the Mar-a-Lago sketch. Hamm and Teller appeared in Top Gun: Maverick with Tom Cruise. Teller replied that it was rare to have the host in the cold open and that this appearance was exceptional.FAQs
