Schut to craft the screenplay, with Schut being the writer behind the original movie, according to a report in The Hollywood Reporter.

Sylvester Stallone will once again take on the role of producer, alongside his Balboa Productions collaborator Braden Aftergood. Stallone is set to reprise his leading role, and this arrangement was established before the onset of the actors' strike, as per the report.

'Samaritan', a fresh superhero film adapted from a 2014 graphic novel, is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime.
