Sajid Javid urges his colleagues to join him in his decision and shares major governement problems
The former health secretary, Sajid Javid, has urged his colleagues to join him in quit. He is of the opinion that the major problem with Government starts right from the top.

He referred to the series of scandals which have unsettled the Government and said that the reset button can work only a few times.
He took a stab at Boris Johnson's leadership and said that a team is only as good as its team captain, and that a captain is as good as his or her team.
He continued that he is deeply concerned about how the next generation will see the Conservative Party.
He addressed the Speaker and said that he is grateful to get permission to make the statement. He said that they listened to the words of Reverend Les Issac, who spoke about the responsibility that comes with leadership. It includes the responsibility to serve the interests of others above your own and to seek the common good of your Party, your community, and above all your country.
He continued that he has never been one of life’s quitters. He deeply cares about public service, and giving back to the country. He wished his colleagues well who have decided to remain in this Cabinet. He understands that they all have their own reasons and that it is a choice.
He remarked that he is deeply concerned about how the next generation will see the Conservative Party. Their reputation depends on regaining people’s trust, after twelve years in government.
He made it clear that it is not just a personal matter. The philosophy and perception of Conservatives depends on it. He got into politics to do something, and not to be somebody. So, for him, it is hard in one way, but not in another.
He ended by saying that being a good father, husband, son and citizen is good enough for him. And if he can continue to contribute to public life and his Party from the backbenches, it will be his privilege to do so.
