Sabrina Carpenter becomes 1st person since Taylor Swift to achieve this record

Sabrina Carpenter has achieved her fifth No. 1 hit on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart with her track Bed Chem. The 25-year-old’s album Short n’ Sweet is the first in nearly a decade to achieve at least four No. 1 songs on the chart since Taylor Swift’s 1989 in 2014-15.

The Taylor Swift album had five hits on the Billboard Pop Airplay chart.

Emails I Can’t Send finally hits Top 40

Sabrina Carpenter’s Emails I Can’t Send jumped from No. 67 to No. 40 on the Official Albums chart. This marks the first time the title has become a top 40 hit on the UK chart, which ranks the most-consumed albums and EPs across the country.

The album was released in 2022 and its popularity has skyrocketed since the start of Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet tour.

Last year, Sabrina Carpenter had said that she does not feel a connection to her old albums. "For the people who love those early records and listen to them, I love you for that. But I personally feel a sense of separation from them, largely due to the shift in who I am as a person and as an artist," she said.
