Sabotage in US election 2024? After Donald Trump assassination attempts, polls offices in over 10 states receive mail with white powder

US Election Offices in 16 states including politically crucial states of Iowa, Kentucky, Tennessee, Wyoming, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, Colorado, Missouri, New York are in an utter state of panic after receiving several suspicious mails which contained a white powder. According to the ABC News canvass, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Postal Service Authorities have already started their investigation giving out a statement that no single package was hazardous or harmful.

FBI and the Postal Service also added that the fear and panic following the scary mail containing white powder resulted in evacuation of most of the election offices whereas, in one place after examining the white powder, it was determined to be mere flour. In the midst of this dangerous situation, the FBI also intercepted such suspicious mails in some more locations such as Arizona, Georgia, Connecticut, Maryland and many more and were promptly stopped by them before reaching their locations, reported ABC News.

The US Postal Inspection service issued a statement following this incident that they are working in close ties with FBI and are looking in to this severe matter with utmost care and the people who are responsible behind such heinous act along with their motive will be soon determined.

BBC News got access to an exclusive copy of a letter which was sent to the Elections Infrastructure Information Sharing and Analysis Center regarding the investigation in to this matter and noted that most of the envelopes had a signature of ‘United States Traitor Elimination Army’. FBI reported that the office of the North Carolina Board of Elections is tightening up their internal security and the election offices in Kansas and Wyoming were evacuated following this incident.
