Russian Soldiers Mock Ukraine with Captured US vehicle

Footage showed Russian troops using a captured American M113 armoured personnel carrier. The vehicle carried both Russian and US flags as it moved through Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhia region.

The act was seen as a symbolic taunt directed at Ukraine and its allies. This came after a Russian drone strike on Kharkiv killed five people, including two children, and injured dozens. A missile strike earlier in the day left at least 11 wounded, according to city officials.

Petr Andryushchenko of the Centre for the Study of the Occupation criticised the flag display. He said Russian propaganda channels were promoting it as a response to the Trump-Putin Alaska Summit.
