Russian missile strikes aftermath: NATO nations to equip Ukraine with advanced missiles
More than 50 countries from Ukraine’s Nato-led allies have announced to help Kyiv with advanced air defence weapons to prevent Russian missile air strikes.

Countries including the UK, France, Netherlands, and Canada have promised to supply advanced weaponry, such as radars and missiles to Ukraine. Germany has already sent a high-tech missile system to Ukraine, whereas the US announced similar aid earlier.
Around 50 Ukraine’s allied nations met at Nato headquarters in Brussels, and all of them made the ‘historic’ pledges.
The UK has promised to support Ukraine with air defence missiles and hundreds of aerial drones to safeguard Ukraine’s logistic and information-gathering systems.
The US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin assured that they would do everything to ensure that Ukraine would have what is needed to be effective.
Hours after the meeting, Russia started shelling the southern city of Mykolaiv. According to Oleksandr Senkevich, Mykolaiv’s mayor, the city was under a massive shelling attack on Thursday around 1:00 local time.
The mayor added that after the Russian shelling hit a five-storey building, two of its upper floors were completely demolished, while the rest is under rubble.
