However, the relationship did not go well, and Brand sexually assaulted the woman during a three-month relationship in 2006 when she was 16.


During an interview with the Sunday Times, the woman said that she met Brand in Leicester Square after she had been shopping. She says she texted Brand her age after telling her mother, but he wasn't deterred and on the date asked her to confirm she was sixteen. The woman confirmed that during the span of their relationship, Brand was very controlling and sexually and emotionally abusive.

2007
In 2007, Brand again found himself in a pool of allegations when Jordan Martin alleged that the 'Get Him to the Greek' actor sexually assaulted her and was physically and emotionally abusive towards her in the span of their six-month relationship, which began in February 2007. Describing the horrifying incident, Martin said that when she and the actor were at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester, Brand lost his cool when he found out that Martin had talked to her boyfriend and ripped her phone case apart to pull out the battery before touching her sexually.

2012
In 2012, a woman claimed that she had been sexually assaulted by Brand in July at his Los Angeles home after she had refused to go with him on a date with "a friend." The woman said she told Brand to shut up and that she was ready to leave, but he insisted and momentarily locked the door to prevent her from leaving.

Following the incident, Brand apologized to her through text messages, calling his actions "crazy and selfish." It took place in the same month that Brand and singer Katy Perry officially divorced.

In 2013, another accusation against Brand came to limelight when a woman said that she was sexually assaulted by the actor at his home in Los Angeles. The woman during a conversation with the Sunday Times said that the actor forcefully tried to kiss her, removed her clothes, and assaulted her.

In 2020, the woman who claimed that she was assaulted by Brand in 2006 during her 3 months relationship with him when she was 16 said that she got in touch with Brand's literary agent at the time, who was also one of the co-founders of the talent agency Tavistock Wood. The victim said that the lawyer who represented the actor asked her to refute the allegations and say that she was behind money.

2023
