Run Away: Expected release window for Netflix mystery series | Plot, cast, and more

Fans of Harlan Coben don’t have to wait long as the mystery series Run Away is starting production later this month, as per Netflix. This eight-episode thriller inspired by Coben’s 2019 novel of the same name will premiere on Netflix.

Run Away will star James Nesbitt, who starred in Netflix’s recent hit, Missing You series. Run Away Plot

The thriller series centres around Simon, a man whose perfect life shatters after his eldest daughter Paige runs away. Run Away is about what extent a family can go to keep the family together.

Simon’s search for Paige will take him into a dangerous underworld, revealing deep secrets that could tear his family apart forever. The story will unearth untold violence and a lot of family secrets.

Expected Release Date

Run Away might be released on New Year's Day in 2026, according to a Cosmopolitan report. As Coben's last two series have been released on New Year's Day in consecutive years, this one too might premiere on that day.

Run Away’s Setting

Like many of Coben’s previous Netflix adaptations, Run Away will be set in the UK. Filming will begin this January in Manchester and the northwest of England, according to Netflix.

Run Away will be produced by Quay Street Productions. Coben will serve as executive producer through his company, Final Twist Productions.
