King Charles III and the Queen Consort will continue the Queen’s annual tradition of Christmas at Sandringham. Many royal watchers look forward to seeing the Royal Family in Norfolk. The late Queen Elizabeth II hosted 32 Christmas gatherings at the Sandringham Estate. Due to the Covid pandemic, she spent her last two Christmases at Windsor Castle.

Many royal watchers make it their annual tradition to greet the Royal Family when they leave for church on Christmas Day. They expressed happiness over the fact that the Royal Family will continue the tradition this year. The royal watchers also reminisced that seeing the Queen was a part of their Christmas magic. They also look forward to the different vibe this year. It will be the first year that the King and Queen Consort will be at the location in their new roles.

Sandringham House

The famous Sandringham House has hosted four generations of British rulers for more than 150 years. There are many homes where the Royal Family could have chosen to spend Christmas. But, it is believed that King Charles has decided to continue the tradition dear to his parents.
