Mauricio delivered a career performance, going 4-for-4 with two doubles and a game-tying solo shot from the bottom of the lineup. His leadoff homer in the seventh off Randy Rodriguez tied the game at 3-3.
Two batters later, Soto crushed his team-leading 25th homer to left field, putting the Mets in front for good.
The Mets, who swept the Giants in the three-game series, also saw production from Jeff McNeil, who doubled twice. The win extended their NL East lead to 1.5 games over the Phillies.
The Mets bullpen held firm. José Buttó earned the win with a scoreless sixth, Gregory Soto pitched a clean seventh in his Mets debut, and Edwin Díaz escaped a ninth-inning jam-striking out Willy Adames and Chapman with the bases loaded to secure his 23rd save.
Mauricio added a double in the ninth, scoring on another two-bagger by Brandon Nimmo for an insurance run that sealed the Mets' seventh straight victory.
