Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2024: Complete list, where to watch live

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has announced to induct Mary J. Blige, Cher, Dave Matthews Band, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Kool & The Gang, Ozzy Osbourne and A Tribe Called Quest this year, reports 'Variety'. Besides, it has also selected Jimmy Buffett, MC5, Dionne Warwick and Norman Whitfield fo the Musical Excellence Award. The nominees also included Sinead O’Connor, Lenny Kravitz, Ozzy Osbourne and Mariah Carey. The names of the inductees for 2024 were announced 'Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night' episode on 'American Idol.'

Jimmy Buffett

Late singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett was not on the ballot he had never even been nominated before. But the Rock Hall’s committee inducted him via a separate, non-voted category, for “musical excellence.”

Eligibility

According to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame rules, an individual artist or band must have released its first commercial recording at least 25 years before the year of nomination to be eligible for nomination.

When and where

The 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held live on Saturday, October 19 at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.

Where to watch

The 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2024 ceremony will be streamed live on Disney+. It will be aired separately on ABC at a later date and available on Hulu the following day.
