Rihanna reveals she’s pregnant with her second baby during Super Bowl 2023 halftime show

Even though Rihanna did not have a star-studded guest list for her Super Bowl 2023 halftime show, there was an onstage cameo that caused a stir among global viewers. On Sunday, February 12, the Fenty Beauty mogul and singer hit the halftime show stage for Super Bowl 57 in a red outfit featuring a jacket and bralette. The outfit, which was a custom design by LOEWE, also showed the growing baby bump of the 34-year-old pop star.

Moreover, throughout her 13-minute performance, Rihanna was seen regularly caressing her stomach which appeared to be a nod to her soon-to-be baby number 2. As per reports, the singer’s representative confirmed the pregnancy shortly after she ended her set.




Rihanna welcomed her first child, a baby boy with boyfriend A$AP Rocky in May 2022. The couple had announced that they were expecting a child together in January 2022 with photos on social media revealing the singer’s baby bump. Last year, Rihanna wore a long pink unbuttoned coat to show off her growing bump.



Moreover, ahead of their baby’s arrival, Rihanna was featured on the cover of Vogue magazine’s May issue where she talked about Rocky getting out of the “friend zone” and the moment the rapper “became my family”. She also said that parenthood was not something that they had planned but they were also not against the idea of it.

Earlier in March 2020, Rihanna had expressed that she wants to have three or four kids within the next decade.
