Ricky Martin files $20 million legal suit against nephew. Check out the details
Singer Ricky Martin has filed a US $20 million lawsuit against his nephew, who accused him of physical relationship and harassment.

The singer is known to have filed a $20 million legal suit against Sanchez due to the dent in his reputation. The Livin La Vida Loca singer doesn't want to spare the person just because he is his nephew. Ricky's nephew used to make his family's life miserable in Puerto Rico and often demanded money and bombarded his social media handles with disturbing messages. Sanchez once revealed the singer's number on social media, causing him immense disturbance and anguish. Sanchez's behaviour was so disturbing that Ricky was forced to inform the court and demand a restraining order against him. He was forced to act and wanted the court to adjudicate that Sanchez would avoid contacting him or his family through social media, telephone or personally with immediate effect. Ricky Martin is seeking damages of US$20 million apart from lawyer costs etc., including interest.
Sanchez, who is 21 years old, had claimed that he was in a physical relationship with Ricky Martin and that the latter mentally harassed him. Law 54 of Puerto Rico mandated Domestic Abuse Prevention and Intervention Act, against which a restraining order was issued against Ricky Martin. This accusation was immediately countered, and a Spanish paper revealed the complainant's name. Sanchez withdrew his complaint during a court hearing, and all charges against Ricky Martin were dropped. Ricky Martin, at that time, didn't file any counter case and issued a statement that he hoped his nephew would seek medical help for his condition.
