Los Angeles shot a blistering 56.1 percent from the field and hit 13-of-26 from beyond the arc. Though Cameron Brink didn’t score, she made an impact defensively with five blocks in just 16 minutes.
Caitlin Clark missed another game due to a groin injury. In her absence, Kelsey Mitchell led the Fever (17-13) with 34 points - 21 coming in the second half - as Indiana tried to rally late.
Indiana trailed 76-64 entering the fourth but cut the lead to six with 2:09 remaining, sparked by hot shooting from Mitchell and McDonald. However, a clutch three-pointer from Stevens with 1:17 left sealed the game.
The Sparks gained control in the second quarter behind strong play from Hamby, building an 11-point halftime lead. The game was briefly interrupted late in the half when a spectator threw a sex toy onto the court - the third such incident in recent WNBA games.
