Resident Evil 4 Remake - Here are the details

Updates for the fans of the resident evil franchise are here. The Resident Evil 4 remake will be coming to PC, PS5, and the Xbox Series X by March 24, 2023. The release dates came out just recently, and the die-hard fans are all pumped up for the game. To make the celebration bigger, the game is also getting developed for PSVR2, although there are no release dates for that yet.

The news headlined the Resident Evil 4 remake on the June Sony State of Play with a jaw-dropping first official teaser. The teaser was as hard-hitting and intense as possible and left the fans rooting for more. The music was enough to hook the audience to their seats from the first second into the video. It progressed into such a strong ambience, making it clear that the Resident Evil 4 remake is going to be loved by many. The following minutes into the video showcased solid graphics and a special focus on details. The sound effects and gory details added to the whole vibe of the video. Needless to say, this will be a much-awaited game now.

What is the Resident Evil game?

• The Resident Evil is a Japanese based horror science fiction survival game. It is also famous by the name Biohazard in Japan.
• The Resident Evil game is under the company Capcom. The Franchise gained popularity and even became a major Netflix series.
• It is a third-person shooting game where players control a US government special agent Leon S. Kennedy,
• Leon is set on the mission to rescue the President’s daughter, who was kidnapped by a cult. Ashley Graham, the daughter, was taken to a rural part of Spain.
• Around 1999, during the production of the PlayStation 2, four versions were discarded before the team started focusing more on the dynamic shooting angles of the game.

Soon enough, Resident Evil 4 became a major hit and sold over 11 million copies. All around the platform, there were talks about the accomplishment of Resident Evil 4. Resident Evil 4 easily became a beloved franchise with a strong storyline, graphics, and gameplay. Now with the Resident Evil 4 remake coming out soon, it will be interesting to say if the newer version will stand in comparison to the original favourite or not.

It’s understandable why going with the Resident Evil 4 remake was a smart choice for Capcom. Especially after the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3. But long, term fans are said to be nervous about the remake. Capcom is also working on Resident Evil Village DLC; the content is expected to not affect the production line. Although, this might be the reason why the game will not come out until 2023.

Resident Evil 4 will also be coming on PC and Xbox Series X without any time exclusivity. For now, the Microsoft consoles and PC players will not be able to enjoy the remake of the Resident Evil 4.
