Shortly before the midterm election in the US, the Republican National Committee (RNC) has sued Alphabet Inc's Google, claiming that the Internet giant was identifying the party's fundraising emails as spam because of the RNC's political and conservative views.
The RNC has filed a lawsuit against Google.
The RNC filed a lawsuit against Google because the internet giant is unjustly discriminating against the RNC by confining its email messages because of the party’s political affiliation and views.
RNC’s lawsuit demanded Google stop further filtering the messages and compensate for the monetary loss of $75,000 faced by RNC. The lawsuit also said that during the crucial time when the party needed monetary donations, Google sent all the fundraising emails to potential donors and supporters to their spam folder.
