Republican Matt Gaetz under fire for making derogatory remarks against women
Republican Matt Gaetz is again under fire on social media and critics for derogatory remarks on women rallying in support of abortion rights.

The Florida Congressman addressed an audience of college students at the Student Action Summit in Tampa, Florida. Gaetz made remarks like ‘disgusting’ about the women supporting abortion rights in front of students who had gathered at the Turning Point USA.
He asked the teenage students whether they had seen the pro-abortion and pro-murder rallies of women who look like a thumb. He also mentioned that women who are least likely to get pregnant are worried about abortion rights, and nobody is interested in impregnating them.
He added that the women protesting are 350 pounds with a height of 5'2" and are odious from the inside out. Why are they protesting and marching for abortion rights? Instead, they should march for an hour every day and swing their arms to get the blood pumping through their bodies.
Question: misogyny, what does it look like?

Gaetz’s odious remarks attracted a lot of condemnation from the media and critics for misogynistic remarks.
The recent comments of the Republican representative brought back the scandal of the sex trafficking of a 17-year-old girl that the Justice Department is investigating. The investigation started in the final stage of the Trump Administration. It was a part of an investigation of a political ally, Joel Greenberg, who had pleaded guilty to the charges of sex trafficking.
The investigation on Gaetz is still on as the officials are still trying to prove his sexual involvement with the minor and whether he paid for her travel with him across states, which is considered in violation of sex trafficking laws. As per reports, Gaetz used to pay for sex and set dates with women in exchange for hotel stays or dinner.
There are also reports that Gaetz transferred money to Greenberg via the mobile payment app, equivalent to $900, and he had used a nickname for the minor girl.
Critics are bringing up these allegations against Gaetz for his remarks while addressing the students at Tampa, FL.
The issue started after recent event in US where a 10-year-old rape victim was refused an abortion in her state, and she had to travel to another state to carry out the procedure.
