Amid escalating tension between North Korea, South Korea and the US, Pyongyang continues with the expansion spree of its military installations. The leader of the communist-ruled state, Kim Jong Un has gone to the extent of demolishing several buildings in his Winter Palace estate so that new military establishments could be set up there.

Demolishes buildings in Ryokpo Palace

An unknown X user called 'NobodyGerman' wrote in a post on the social media platform, "Clearance of the Ryokpo Palace Residence? The latest satellite images show that Kim Jong Un's Ryokpo Palace Residence is being removed or remodeled. The Removal began around 29th April." He also posted many photographs, claiming these are satellite images.

State-controlled media has reported that the drills signal the first test of North Korea’s nuclear weapons management and control system as it develops increasingly advanced ballistic missiles.
