Remastered Warcraft 1 & 2: Everything we know so far

Blizzard has confirmed the release of remastered versions of its classic games, Warcraft 1 and 2. These games, now available on the Battle.net store, feature new visuals, improved controls and updates to multiplayer options.

Alongside the remastered games, Blizzard has reintroduced the Warcraft Battle Chest bundle. This package includes Warcraft 1, 2, and 3 in a single purchase, available immediately on Battle.net.

New Features

Blizzard has also made announcements for Warcraft Classic, focusing on future updates. The Mists of Pandaria expansion is confirmed as the next phase, with a planned release for Summer 2025. Blizzard will also introduce Classic Classic servers, designed to offer an experience similar to the original game while incorporating quality-of-life improvements.

New Servers Launch

The Classic Classic servers are set to launch on November 21. They will include Player vs. Environment (PvE), Player vs. Player (PvP) and Hardcore options.
