Although Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe's marriage ended about 15 years ago, their connection is still very friendly. Ava and Deacon, the former couple's two children, were born during their marriage, which lasted from 1999 to 2007. They most recently got together to celebrate their son's high school graduation.

Deacon Reese Phillippe, 18, completed his high school diploma in June. However, Deacon's joyful parents were committed to going above and beyond to make his graduation one occasion to cherish.
In a clip posted on Instagram, Deacon enters to the tune of "Pomp and Circumstance" while rocking a bright and vibrant gown, a matching headpiece and black sunglasses. At the head of the backyard pool, Phillippe, dressed as a principal, and two friends await to present Deacon with his high school diploma.

Deacon collects his certificate with a hearty yes and raises his cap high as his friends and family cheer him on from behind the camera, with the tassel changed to the other side.



Resse Witherspoon expressed her happiness in an Instagram post
Witherspoon watched her son graduate with joy before retrieving the headgear from the swimming pool. She congratulated Deacon on graduating by posting her own Instagram tribute to him.
She added a lovely caption to her Instagram post, expressing her joy and appreciating her son. She stated that she is proud of her son, who has become immensely talented and thoughtful, and that he makes her heart shine with pride.
The qualified "valedriptorian" also uploaded photos of himself to Instagram, one of which was a close-up of his diploma with his parents' signatures on it.

The couple's daughter, Ava
Witherspoon and Phillippe also have a 22-year-old daughter, Ava, who is looking to build a career in modelling and acting. Deacon is their second child.
Witherspoon and Phillippe seem to have remained amicable even after their divorce in 2006. Witherspoon is reportedly married to Hollywood agent Jim Toth, with whom she shares a daughter.

The couple are on good terms
Reese and Ryan were also together just a year ago to celebrate their son's 18th birthday.
The proud father, Ryan, posted a beautiful photo of himself, Deacon, and his ex-wife Reese enjoying themselves at a table in a restaurant in front of a birthday cake on Instagram along with a touching caption.
