Rapper Lil Durk takes break after suffering injury at Lollapalooza
After the onstage accident during the Lollapalooza music show, the rapper Lil Durk shared the news of his recovery with a large patch on his right eye.

Lil Durk shared an update on his health on social media on Sunday.
He was hit in the face by a pyrotechnic at the set of a music festival in Chicago on Saturday evening. In this context, the rapper shared an update on his health and said that he would take a break after the incident at Lollapalooza in Chicago on stage.
The Lollapalooza music festival kicked off its 2022 edition at Grant Park, Chicago. The festival started on July 28. The festival had to go online for streaming in 2020 after the Covid-19 induced lockdowns.

He posted the update on Instagram, where he shared a photo from the hospital room wearing a large patch of the bandage covering his right eye.
The hip-hop artiste was midway through his performance on the pooh Shiesty joint ‘Back In Blood when he accidentally walked into the pyrotechnic cannon. Two explosive blasts of smoke hit him directly in the face.
As Durk stumbled backward, he held his face with his hands and stopped the song immediately. Then, his crew members rushed to help him.
To everyone’s surprise, Durk resumed his performance. After a short pause, he announced that he would continue to perform, but no more smoke.
Later, the footage of the incident went viral on social media.
Now, Durk has updated his fans about his recovery, right from the hospital bed with the patch over his right eye. Along with the information about his recovery and a brief break, he added the note that he finished his performance with after the accident for his fans.
However, it is not yet specified whether Lil Durk would postpone or cancel any event from his upcoming tour dates. He is scheduled to perform in Boston on August 13 before starting his ‘7220 Deluxe' tour in mid-September.
