According to TMZ, video footage showed Raja hammering his KO'd competitor, Stuart Smith also known as “Syko Stu”, at a private wrestling event at KnokX Pro Academy. Following the fierce beatdown, Syko Stu was rushed to the hospital. An insider at the hospital told the entertainment news outlet that he was "fine and recovering" as of Saturday night.
Following the incident, it was "guaranteed" that Raja would never again be allowed at a KnokX Pro wrestling match, TMZ quoted a source as saying. Condemning the attack by Jackson, the event organizers dubbed it a "selfish, irresponsible act of violence."
Douglas Malo, a wrestler for KnokX Pro Entertainment and Academy, was also engaged in the incident as he attempted to drag Raja away from Syko during the cruel beating. He tells TMZ he ran into the ring to try and get Raja off Syko, but he tells us Raja tried to fight him too ... going after him with a double leg attack. He notes ... "This is so shocking because they were supposed to do a small spot and before you know it, he's raining down punches."
Douglas said that the entire situation was bad, "tragic" and "barbaric." He also underscored thatr kids and families were in the stands watching as the incident unfolded. Notably, Douglas’s mother was also present in the audience.
Father Rampage Jackson apologizes for his son’s actions
Rampage Jackson, a former UFC light heavyweight champion, apologized for his son's actions. "Raja is a MMA fighter not a pro wrestler and had no business involved in an event like this. I don’t condone my son’s actions AT ALL!," he said, as quoted by TMZ.
