Brazil’s legendary star and three-time Football World Cup winner Pele, died at the age of 82 on Thursday, tributes pour in from the football world.

Legendary player, Pele’s funeral date has been confirmed and will be held on Monday at the place of his previous club Santos. After the three-time World Cup Winner died at the age of 82, the president of Brazil Jair Bolsonaro declared three days of mourning.
He was a world champion in 1958, 1962, and 1970, and previously has been treated for colon cancer in recent years. He passed away at the Albert Einstein Hospital situated in Sao Paulo on Thursday. Tributes for the star have come showering in from all over the footballing world and beyond that.
Pele played most of his career with Santos in his homeland and scored more than 600 times for the Brazilian side. He was considered the all-time joint-top scorer. The greatest footballer’s body will be laid to rest at Estadio Urbano Caldeira, which is in Vila Belmiro, where the player enchanted the world.
The coffin will be placed at the center of the lawn in the stadium at dawn on Monday and the public wake will begin at 10 am.
The club also shared the details of how the press and the public can pay their respect. Further, it also shared information on a private burial which will be reserved for the Pele’s family members.
